A hardy little boulder mat

We sent Woomf off to the gym and he has come back a changed man. Fully dressed up in a Ballistic Nylon Shell, a material originally developed for use in flak jackets it is very resistive to abrasion and tearing. Packed with high load bearing foam means Woomf is a pretty tough mat. But it is not all brawn, the new Woomf also features the ergo carrying strap that comes with our Phud bouldering mat.

Taco style

Woomf bouldering mats are 'Taco' style mats which means they have a continuous top layer of foam. They do not fold away quite as neatly as a hinged mat but the design does reduce the risk of bottoming out through the hinge zone.

A practical bouldering mat for everyday use

One of the requirements for Woomf was that it should be more portable than Phud. Woomf is a compact size which will suit you if you have a smaller car or if you are trying to pursuade airline staff to let you take it on the plane.
